Team Registration Form
Kicks for Kids is an adult kickball tournament where teams pay an entrance
fee, raise money, and then play in the tournament. Money goes back to the
community in the form of buying equipment and materials for Special Education programs in the Eastern Illinois Area of Special Education (EIASE).
Specifically, we ask the school to come up with a wish-list of items they
could use in their classrooms- (for example, a special kind of desk for someone with
a physical handicap). Then, after the fundraiser, we figure out what we can
afford to buy from the list, and donate these items.
The members of SASPE run this event. Last year's Kicks for Kids was a big success and
this year's tournament is just around the corner. We hope you can join us to make next year's event even better!
Trick or Treat for Books
Trick or Treat for books is a book-drive in the community. SASPE members go Trick-or-Treatin' door to door in the community, but not for candy! We collect books that residents are willing to donate to the community. These books go to the local library and help it expand its resources for free.
