About us...
The Student Association of School Psychologists at Eastern Illinois University or SASPE,
is a recognized student organization of EIU. Our purpose is to facilitate communication between students in the School
Psychology program at EIU, further their professional development, and to foster leadership skills. Our membership is
open to all students currently enrolled in the School Psychology program at EIU.
Our goal is
to serve the community and the school psychology program. We service the community by raising funds to help out special
education programs in the local schools and even collect books to help increase the local library collection. This allows
SASPE members to socialize and have fun while contributing to the community. We also have picnics and other social get togethers
throughout the school year to help each other out during the program and to simply relax.
