Psych 3805
Research Methods Forum
Poster Presentation Guidelines
A poster presentation is where research is presented on a bulletin board. At psychology conferences, the boards may be arranged in rows filling a reserved room for this purpose. They may fill a room as large as a convention hall or as small as a classroom. For PSY 3805, they line the first floor hallway in the Physical Sciences building. You, the researchers, will stand in front of your display, and interested persons will stop, read, chat, ask questions, and offer advice. This will go on for about 2 hours.

- The Research Methods Forum is usually held on Tuesday afternoon the last week of the Fall and Spring semesters. We like to prepare “program books” to handout prior to and during the Forum. This means that you need to submit to Dr. Brito (cfbrito@eiu.edu) an electronic version of an abstract for your project the Friday before the Forum. You will need to include the Title, Names of all authors, your Instructor’s name, and an APA-style abstract.
